I Tried To Sign In To My Website But It Just Showed A Page Saying I Was Blocked! What Do I Do?

To protect your website WebBoss has a firewall added to the server. This means that it will automatically block access to a website if it thinks that allowing access would breach security.
There re three main reasons why you could get blocked from accessing your website or your email account.
If your IP address has been blocked you should send an email from an account that is not linked to your domain as the firewall may still block the message from sending.
There re three main reasons why you could get blocked from accessing your website or your email account.
- Your IP address has been blocked. If your IP address has been reported for suspicious activity it may have been blocked as a security measure.
- Failed Login Attempts. In the event that you get locked out of your website or email because you typed your password in wrong too many times as a mistake you can contact WebBoss Support, with your IP address, to have this rectified. The reason you may have been blocked is that the firewall has mistaken you for a hacker or a spammer, and is trying to protect your website.
- Your email account may be sending out spam. This can sometimes happen even without you knowing! If you email address has been compromised or spoofed then the firewall will block your IP. If this is the case you may receive lots of bounce reports for failed emails that you did not send. We recommend that you run a virus scan to check your computer and also that you change all your email and admin passwords for good measure. If you don’t have a virus scanner, we recommend Avast! Antivirus (it’s free!)
